It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and once went nearly four years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

That it took up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

It is hard for their batters to possess a record if not provided the possibility.

The question of whether this recent magnificent innings surpassed that earlier display can be debated.

Many contend the argument supporting final game tension. Some might respond with the test that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What's definite is this century was considerably tougher to see coming.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 came as she was the highest scorer, but this innings followed six innings in India over the past few weeks in which she had not exceeded 30 runs.

When she was out her side required another 66 at one run per ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the belief to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, should it happen, we know we can achieve it."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this championship want to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this victory following success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was in the semi-finals they exited last year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of damaged tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the initial instance at an important competition.

So strong is her resolve, she afterwards commented she wanted to have participated through the pain.

However although she later admitted those physical issues have pushed back thoughts of retirement, this World Cup is expected to be her last as captain in 50-over cricket and she is still to achieve an international tournament as leader.
